WDS LLC. provides the following standard security features across its product line:
· Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP): 40 & 128-bit WEP encryption
· 40-bit hardware encryption
· Domain Access Control: security system that prevents unauthorized access to our wireless network; synchronization of client premise equipment with access point
· Media Access Control (MAC): restricts wireless access to authorized MAC addresses only; configurable by admin only, but accessible throughout network
· Administrative Access Control: assigns AP administrators a password and management rights
· Service Set ID (SSID): Access Point and CPE Unit configurable
· Additional easy to integrate security applications including firewalls and virtual private networks
